The NRF was developed by CRC CARE in collaboration with stakeholders to enable a nationally consistent approach to the remediation and management of contaminated sites. In November 2019, the NRF was endorsed as best practice by all environmental regulatory jurisdictions through the Heads of EPA Australia and New Zealand (HEPA) forum.

Together, the NRF and NEPM provide comprehensive guidance for the assessment of site contamination and for the remediation and management of sites that are deemed to be contaminated.

This free online launch event includes an overview of the NRF and its practical implications. Presenters will offer insights from the perspective of contaminated site practitioners and owners, and participants will have the opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A panel session.
